Big Stretch questions the sincerity of Blood and Crip unity in Los Angeles
Big Stretch has talked with us several times over the years. We met back in 2007 and did an interview at the old City Library on Vermont & 36th Street. In 2014 Big Stretch did another interview with
us, and we met up with him again during the end of 2018. Big Stretch talks about the gentrification in the USC area, but he also speaks on that idea of Crips and Bloods functioning together and
questions how sincere that unity really is. Perhaps this critique can spark a new dialogue into how effective and the possibilities of Bloods and Crips coming together without conflict in business, the streets, music and all facets.
