Its a wonderful day in Hip Hop.  Fans get too see a visual from a hot song.  Rich Homie Quan and Problem's song "Walk Thru" has slowly been viral ever since Rich Homie Quan released the mixtape " I Promise I Will Never Stop Going In" hosted by Dj Drama.  Rich Homie Quan has also been doing collabs with Rich Gang artist Young Thug, TheMigos and PeeWee Longway.  Problem has also been featured on Hustle Gang's G.D.O.D. mixtape hosted by Dj Drama.  Expect more heat for the rest of the year from these two artist.

Dequantes Lamar (born October 4, 1989), better known by his stage name Rich Homie Quan is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia signed to T.I.G Entertainment.

Early life

Rich Homie Quan played baseball at Decatur, Georgia's Ronald E. McNair High School with aspirations to play professionally. After high school, when his baseball career did not materialize, he began rapping and got a job at a nearby airport. When he lost his job, Quan got involved in illegal activities which eventually led to him serving 15 months in prison for burglary.

Musical career

The song "Differences" was the first single from his 2012 debut mixtape Still Going In.  In 2013, he toured with Trinidad James.  He was also featured on Gucci Mane's 2013 album Trap House III on the songs "I Heard", "Can't Trust Her" and "Chasin' Paper" featuring Young Thug. Reviewing his single "Type of Way", The New York Times wrote that he is "part of Atlanta’s rising generation of rappers—think Future, Young Thug, Young Scooter—who deliver lines with melody and heart, like singers on the verge of a breakdown."  The song has peaked at number 50 on the US Billboard Hot 100Still Goin' In (Reloaded) would be named the tenth best mixtape of 2013 by Rolling Stone.
"Type of Way" would be released to the iTunes Store by Def Jam Recordings in August 2013, suggesting him signing to the well known hip hop record label.  Quan was also featured on the song "My Nigga" by YG also featuring Young Jeezy, which peaked at number 19 on the Hot 100. He was also featured on 2 Chainz' second studio album B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, on the song "Extra". In September 2013, he confirmed that he was 30% done with his debut album.His mixtape I Promise I'll Never Stop Going In was released on November 26, 2013. It was supported by the single "Walk Thru" featuring Problem. The 2013 Michigan State Spartans football team adopted "Type of Way" as an anthem, and Quan joined them on the sidelines in a green jersey at the 100th Rose Bowl, while also participating in their post-game locker-room celebration singing "Type of Way". He was named to the 2014 XXL freshman class.

Rich Homie Quan was rushed to the hospital on May 6, 2014, after suffering from two seizures and cracking his head open during a video shoot for the song "Walk Thru" with Problem in Atlanta's Piedmont Park.

His debut retail project, an EP named Understand Me, was released on December 10, 2013. He is best known for his single "Like Whaaat" and for featuring on E-40's "Function"

Biography[edit]

Problem was born in West Germany on May 8, 1985 and grew up in Compton, California.  He entered the industry writing a verse for a producer & friend Terrace Martin, for a song called "Be Thankful", featured on Snoop Dogg’s compilation album The Big Squeeze. The track garnered praise from notable artist such as Nas and Talib Kweli amongst others.  Problem began recording records with various West Coast artists such as DazKurupt, Snoop Dogg, and DJ Quik. Problem’s first big break was when Snoop Dogg heard a record which was also produced by Terrace Martin called “Neva Hafta To Wurry About That”.  He went on to write three records on Snoop Dogg’s “Ego Trippin” LP. 
In 2008 Problem and his cousin founded Diamond Lane Music Group.  Then in 2009 he signed an unsuccessful two-single major label deal with Universal.  However his breakout moment would be when he was featured on E-40's single "Function" along with YG and Iamsu!. Since that time Problem has worked with the various artists such as Jamie FoxxJim JonesGameWiz KhalifaBobby V9th Wonder,Chris BrownNipsey HussleWarren GKendrick LamarChildish GambinoPharrell WilliamsTravis Barker, and John Legend among many others.  Over his career Problem has released seven mixtapes. On February 13, 2013, Problem released a collaborative mixtape with Iamsu! titled Million Dollar Afro with guest appearances from JuvenileToo Short and Omarion.
On June 13, 2013, he released a mixtape titled The Separation with guest appearances from WaleT.I., Snoop Dogg, Game, Chris BrownTankTyga and Wiz Khalifa among others. His 2013 song "Like Whaaat," featuring Bad Lucc, peaked at #20 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 singles chart, becoming his most successful song. On July 23, 2013, he released "Say That Then," featuring Glasses Malone.
In November 2013, Problem announced that he would release his debut album independently thrugh Diamond Lane Music Group. He revealed that he would be primarily producing the album along with League of Starz.  On December 10, 2013, Problem released a retail EP called Understand Me, featuring songs such as "Like Whaaat", "Say That Then" and "Understand Me". Problem appeared in a branded music video alongside Neil Patrick Harris for the drink product Neuro in February 2014.
